Professional foot care nurse serving the Greater East Texas area. We provide routine foot care for those who are diabetic, have arthritic pain, cannot see well enough to trim your nails, are post surgery, or simply cannot reach their feet. Our goal is to prevent foot related complications, maintain the health of your feet, and provide foot health education.
Why Foot Care?
Having healthy feet is one of the best things we can do for our overall health. It can be a struggle to keep up with the needs of our feet, especially when life gets in the way. Feet can provide a good insight to our overall health, so it is important to be mindful of foot related issues. Foot care is especially important for diabetic patients. According to the American Diabetes Association, “Patients with diabetes are more likely to require lower-limb amputation than people without diabetes.” So it is vitally important for diabetics to have professional foot care.
At Extra Steps Foot Care, we go the Extra Mile to provide individualized foot care and education to fit your needs. Using evidence based nursing practices, we customize our treatment plans to ensure you have the best foot health. Having foot problems like painful ingrown toenails, bunions, corns and calluses, thick and fungal nails may increase fall risk thereby significantly affecting our daily lives.
Let us help you reduce foot pain, restore dignity and maintain healthy feet to keep you mobile and active for as long as it is possible. During each visit our Registered Nurse provides compassionate care with dignity and respect while following rigorous infection control protocols.
