Immigrating to America from Cameroon, Caro quickly made her way to East Texas where she was able to attend Tyler Junior College and earn her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2016. Caro went on to earn her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Western Governors University in 2024.

Caro has worked as a registered nurse in a Post-Surgical Rehab Hospital. As a Case Manager and a Clinical Assessment Adviser in Home Health. And as a Charge Nurse at a Long-Term Care Facility. While working in these capacities, Caro noted so many patients in need of routine care for their feet.

Foot care has been a passion of Caro’s from the time she worked as a Home Health Nurse and noticed the lack of service available to treat her patient’s feet. Seeing this void in the market and wanting to always provide the best care for her patients, Caro started Extra Steps Foot Care Services.

Caro is a member of the American Foot Care Nurses Association. She resides in Whitehouse Texas with her husband and two boys. Caro and her family attend a local church in Tyler.
